Slava Iourgaev came to Australia from Tashkent in Uzbekistan in 1994 after training as a cellist. Since coming to Melbourne he has performed with a number of orchestras and is a member of a string quartet called Unique. He has also performed as a soloist with the MMO on a number of occasions and his performances have been highly praised by audiences and the MMO members alike. |
