A Day At The Circus by Australian composer & guitarist, Richard Charlton, Divertimento by Mexican composer Eduardo AnguloFour Italian Arias From the 17th Century arranged by Michelle Nelson and featuring a fabulous soprano from Castlemaine, Elisabeth Denk, Tarantella from the Diamantina Suite by Australian mandolin virtuoso and composer, Keith Harris, Concerto No.3 for Rubob and Orchestra by Haji Khanmamedov and featuring Abram Iourgaev on rubob, and The Easy Winners by Scott Joplin, Harmony On Lyttleton Street by Michelle Nelson

This concert featured Stringing by Caroline Szeto, Mikri Thalassa by Betty Beath, Ballet & East-West by Stephen Lalor who also soloed on mandolin, Three pieces for Solo Mandolin and Mandolin Orchestra by Ludwig van Beethoven, arranged and performed on mandolin by Sydney-based virtuoso, Stephen Lalor, and finally, for the second half, the wonderful Stabat Mater by Giovanni Pergolesi and arranged by Abram Iourgaev, featuring Tania Kaev, soprano and Lydia Klimek, mezzo soprano.

This concert was arranged in association with the Rotary Club or Warragul and featured Bergamasca by Bernardo Gianoncelli (arranged by Abram Iourgaev), Concerto in D for Guitar and Orchestra by Antonio Vivaldi with Michelle Nelson as solo guitarist, Finlandia by Hermann Ambrosius, Serenade by Enrico Toselli featuring Abram Iourgaev on mandocello, Song of the Japanese Autumn by Yasuo Kuwahara, the Adagio from Concerto No 3 for Rubob and Orchestra by Haji Khanmamedov with Abram Iourgaev playing solo rubob, Brolga Dances by Michelle Nelson, and the Tango from Divertimento by Eduardo Angulo.

James Tatoulis Hall, MLC- Saturday 18th of October 2008 "40th Anniversary Concert"
This was a fantastic concert and featured a number of our former players to rejoined us especially for part of this concert. We were particularly pleased that two of our very best former players, Michelle Wright and Peter Mangold performed as soloists in the Mandola Concerto by Fred Witt, and Concerto in G (in the style of Frederick the Great) by Elke Tober-Vogt, respectively.
St John's Church, Southgate - Saturday 16th of August 2008 "Baroque & Classical Mandolin"
This fantastic concert featured two of Australia's finest mandolin virtuosi:
Sue Flower and Marissa Carroll who performed in Antonio Vivaldi's G Maj Concerto for Two Mandolins, Hummel's Concerto in G Maj for Mandolin and Elke Tober-Vogt's Concerto for Mandolin from Frederick the Great.
Michelle Nelson (Classical Guitar) also featured as a soloist playing in a trio with both Sue and Marissa.
Music performed included: I Puritani by Bellini and Suite No 2 for Mandolin Orchesta by Wolki
Melba Hall, Royal Parade, Parkville - Saturday 10th of May "Collaboration II" with the Sydney Balalaika Orchestra conducted by Victor Serghie

2. Sunday April 22nd - The Great Hall of the Gum San Chinese Museum, Ararat - music by Ambrosius, Angulo, Witt, Gianoncelli, Carr-Boyd, Kuwahara and others
3. Sunday May 20th - Colac Otway Performing Arts Community Centre, Colac - music by Angulo, Kuwahara, Nelson, Gianoncelli and others
4. Sunday June 3rd - Federation Square for the Melbourne Italian Festival - popular Italian music
5. Sunday June 10th - Piazza Italia, Lygon Street Carlton for the Melbourne Italian Festival - same repertoire
6. Sunday July 22nd - Caulfield Town Hall Annual Concert with the Armenian Choir - 13 folk tunes and dances from Armenia
7. Sunday September 9th - Cowes Cultural Centre - the fourth of five trips into rural Victoria during 2007, one of our busiest years for a long while!
8. Sunday October 21st - in the famous Spiegeltent in front of Melbourne's Art Centre as part of the Melbourne International Festival.
9. Saturday October 28th - Halls Gap Centennial Hall, Halls Gap - a repeat of the program we performed at the Spiegeltent
10. Saturday November 17th - St John's Church, Southgate - our last concert for the year (phew it's been an exhausting year!!) comprising an all-Australian repertoire to highlight the talent within our lucky country. Works performed included Dances for the Mandolin and the Moon by Richard Charlton, Brolga Dances by Michelle Nelson, Nirthanjali by Eric Austin Phillips, Capricorn Light by Michelle Nelson, Memories of Bendigo by Fred Witt and others.
